ionization energy

Ionization energy of an atom or molecule is an energy which is required to remove an electron from the gaseus atom. This energy also called as ionization potential.

When moving from the top to bottum in a particular group, the ionization energy decrease and moving from the left to right, the ionization energy is increased, because of the the new electrons are added in the same orbital.

The charge of the nucleus was increased and the attraction force between the nucleus and outer-most electron is high.

So, need to possess more energy to remove the valence electron from ana atom.

The Second  ionizaton energy is greater than the first ionization energy of an element.

This is my first blog. plz tell me if any mistake.
